PIRE is working alongside the Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services in Maryland on the evaluation of the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The goal of the OD2A program is to use real-time fatal and non-fatal opioid overdose data to inform prevention and response efforts across the provider system in Baltimore County, including EMS, police, providers and the PDMP system. The evaluation consists of utilizing program information, planning and collecting data through interviews and surveys; and tracking drug overdose incidences and linkages to care through a large case management database.
